YNPN LA is actively looking to expand our capacity by developing our Board Committees. Available committees include: Finance and Operations, Membership, Programs and Events, and Market and Communications.
Programming and Events
The Programming and Events Committee focuses on planning and hosting quality social and professional networking events for YNPN LA. The committee also facilitates career development training and resources for nonprofit employees and volunteers. YNPN LA professional development events add value to membership by engaging nonprofit emerging leaders in dialogue with each other and with seasoned nonprofit leaders.
Members of this committee will be in charge of the recruitment and cultivation of new members. Committee members will act as ambassadors to the organization and represent the organization at events.
Marketing and Communications
The Communications Committee is responsible for two basic components of the YNPN LA communications:
- Online communications – Website, email, social media (Twitter, Facebook Page, LinkedIn, Instagram)
- Print materials – brochure, business cards, signs, etc.
Finance and Operations
The Finance and Operations Committee is comprised of the Board CFO and a group of active board members. The committee is responsible for overseeing and managing the organization’s budget and other administrative components.
