Professional Development Event Recap - Financial Development and Management...Oh My! with Antioch University

On March 10th, YNPN-LA and the M.A. in Nonprofit Management degree program at Antioch University Los Angeles (AULA) teamed up once more to offer our third in a series of co-sponsored, interactive, professional development workshops. 


"Financial Development and Management...Oh My!" reviewed methods and motivation for raising funds from traditional sources, structure and responsibilities of the development function within nonprofit organizations, and emerging trends and innovations in financial resource development in nonprofit organizations. 

Presenters -- Celeste Anlauf, Director of Donor Relations at Para Los Ninos; Elizabeth Daly, President of EM Daly Consulting; and AULA faculty member Bob Lazzarini -- each spoke for 10-15 minutes followed immediately by small group discussions facilitated by Nonprofit Leadership Alliance volunteers who have earned their M.A. in Nonprofit Management and Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) credentials at AULA.  The interactive workshop format contributed to a fun evening of conversation that helped participants to apply and make tangible meaning of what was learned.
